Getting Started as a MicrOpay Client
As a current or potential customer, it’s easy to get up and running with the Access MicrOpay Web API (the Web API):
If you are working with a third party software product, you will need to:
- Verify with the Software and Service Organisation (SSO) providing it that it can support the Web API.
- Request credentials for the Web API test environment (sandbox) on behalf of your SSO.
You may also wish to provide your SSO with a copy of your MicrOpay database for them to use with the Web API test environment. A test MicrOpay licence may also be required. Refer to the previous topic, Getting Started as a Software and Service Organisation for more information.
If you are developing in-house support for the Web API, you will need:
- The latest version of the MicrOpay Client Services application
- The latest MicrOpay version (On-premise customers only. Customers using MicrOpay in the Payroll Online environment will always have the most recent version).
- Credentials for the WebTest API test environment.
Verify your Software & Service Organisation software
The Access MicrOpay Web API allows you to easily get and send data between MicrOpay and your SSO’s software. Access MicrOpay supports the Web API, but your SSO will need to program their software for it. You should work with your SSO to review our Getting Started Guides and Access MicrOpay Web API Reference page to familiarise themselves with Web API functionality.
Request Test API credentials
You can request Test API credentials either for your own organisation, if developing in-house Web API, or on behalf of your SSO by raising a case via our Customer Success Portal.
The case details should include:
- Your Access Group Customer ID and best contact person.
- If using an SSO, the details of their company and software product.
- The way that you intend to use the Web API.
